Rocky Mountain Featherbed was founded in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, known as the Cowboy State, USA in the late 1960s. The company created its iconic down vest with a seamless one-piece leather insert for cowboys. The idea for the yoke comes from the leather capes worn by Native Americans. Its down vests have become very famous for their cold-resistant and heat-retaining characteristics, like those of feather beds. Rocky Mountain attracts many people around the world across generations.
