A pair of vintage worn-in jeans (often white), an Oxford button-down shirt, a pair of sneakers that are not too pristine (definitely not too pristine), and most importantly — a scarf to finish off the look. This silhouette embodies the style of the Parisians we love so much and who inspire us endlessly.
Merci is launching a collection of 5 unisex scarves, hand-drawn between Paris and New York by artist Emma Jaeger. A graduate of the Parsons School of Design, she is known for her figurative paintings that delicately explore femininity.
For this collaboration, her creations draw inspiration from the elegance of Japanese checkerboard patterns, the timeless simplicity of the Shaker style, and the hypnotic world of Vasarely.
