In 1852, an immigrant from Bavaria named Levi Strauss opened a merchandise store in San Francisco. As part of his business, he realized that manual workers especially needed sturdy clothing designed to last. In 1873, he had the idea of combining durable denim with copper rivets. This original creation, which was initially intended to dress American workers, gradually became the uniform of change. Worn by miners, ranchers, rebels, rock stars, presidents and ordinary men and women, our pieces ended up being part of everyone's daily lives.
Composition: 99% cotton, 1% elastane
Maintenance: Machine wash cold. Do not use bleach. Tumble dry on moderate cycle. Iron at medium temperature if necessary. Dry cleaning possible. Wash inside out with like colors
