The coincidence of stepping through the doors in our 15th year, into an old post office, a place filled with meaning, just waiting to come to life. The coincidence of uncovering a precious glass-block skylight, allowing natural light to seep through, revealing a unique energy and atmosphere. This coincidence is called 19 rue de Richelieu. Merci’s second address in Paris.
Still no grand facades facing the street, just a discreet recess in a vibrant road, and the obvious choice to open a new store—one that aspires to be infused with boldness, creativity, and elegance over time. Another Merci, designed to endure. Neither exactly the same as 111 Boulevard Beaumarchais, where it all began in 2009, nor entirely different—nestled in this haven away from the hustle and bustle of Paris. We love being here, yet not quite here. Because at Merci, everything is always changing, while remaining unchanged.

Its love for craftsmanship and quality is embodied in a real hardware section, inviting hours of exploration. The space, with its soaring ceilings, unfolds in a grand rectangle, yet never reveals itself all at once.
