In 2004, Audrey decided to go on a journey to West Africa. It was in northern Ghana, in the small town of Nyariga, that the idea of Muuñ took root.
During a walk, Audrey discovered the traditional Ghanaian round basket and met Tahiru, a passionate craftsman. He mastered the art of traditional straw weaving, explained his work to her, and shared his hope that his baskets would one day be sold in Europe at fair and equitable prices.
