In 1911 Balthasar Merz opened his textile factory in Germany, but production was finally stopped in the 1960s. Merz b. Schwanen is then re-established in 2011 by the descendants of the founder. The brand retains the production method of its founder, the products are still produced in Germany using 32 "loopwheeler", a kind of circular knitting machines, as in the beginning in the brand. This technology allows the brand to produce each garment without side seams, guaranteeing incredible comfort. The respect for tradition is also seen in the choice of materials that are 100% natural.
