In 2022, benefiting from fifty years of experience, one of the last knitwear manufacturers in the Paris region created Nitto Knitwear. Behind this brand lies a masterful expertise that has been passed down from father to son for three generations. For the founder, it is essential that this activity, and the required know-how, be transmitted to the new generation. This is why the current manager, grandson of the workshop's founder, lived his childhood in the workshop where he spent most of his time.
The Youri x MERCI cardigan adopts the codes of the classic model. That is to say, we reuse its yarn, its knitting, its finishing stages, and the same assembly, but mix it with the classic American university cardigan, predating the Varsity Jacket. Every detail on the cardigan has a meaning. The number of stripes indicates the number of years studied at the school. There are two, because this is the 5th season with MERCI. The large letter patch represents the first letter of the university. The ribbing on the bottom hem has also been modified by adopting the codes of vintage cardigans, with a tubular finish and not a 2x2 rib as usually done on the Youri cardigan.

For the Christmas holidays, we extend the return period. All orders placed from December 1st 2025 can be returned until January 5th 2026.
