Revisiting the classics of the American wardrobe with a modern twist is the project of Hartford, envisioned by Yves Chareton in the United States in 1979. A decisive encounter sparked the adventure: a New York manufacturer sold him old stocks of oxford and chambray fabric, perfect for creating the first vintage-inspired Hartford shirts, which were nowhere to be found on the market. A few years later, the studio returned to Paris. The brand took shape, and commercial development began: collections expanded and became known for impeccable quality in materials and style.
