Route 66, America’s “Mother Road,” is a one-of-a-kind travel experience. Whether you start in Santa Monica, California heading east, or from Chicago heading west and south, it’s a unique journey anyone can take
The map begins with an inset of Chicago, follows Hwy 36 (Route 66 now exists as a historic route), then south to St. Louis, west to Oklahoma City, before switching to the reverse side for the route beyond Albuquerque, through Flagstaff and the Mojave Desert to Los Angeles and Route 66’s terminus on Santa Monica Beach.
