In the early 90s, JUNGMAVEN founder Robert Jungmann became passionate about stopping the devastating clear-cutting practices that harm the planet, and he recognized that hemp culture offered a solution to this and many other environmental issues. At the time, hemp was not considered a fashion material, and Rob's idea to create a high-quality hemp t-shirt emerged from a desire to show the industry and the public the immense potential of hemp to heal the planet and become a fashionable textile.
