Rocky Mountain Featherbed was founded in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, known as the "Cowboy State" in the United States, in the late 1960s. The company created its iconic down vest with a one-piece seamless leather yoke for cowboys. The idea for the yoke came from the leather capes worn by Native Americans. His down vests became very famous for their cold resistance and heat retention characteristics, like those of feather beds. Rocky Mountain has attracted many people around the world across generations.
