• Glass is a wonderful material that has been used for centuries in food preparation.
• Glass is a very safe material to use. It is chemical free so there is no risk of chemicals getting transferred into your food.
• When glass is tempered, it can resist high temperatures and it can also be flame resistant. This makes it versatile and it can be used for cooking, on stoves, and for storing food in addition to serving.
• Glass is non-porous. This means that it does not absorb the smells and tastes of the food. Food does not absorb odors from previously cooked foods. Glass is not chemically reactive, it can then be used in cooking with any kind of food without worrying about the degree of acidity or other reactive properties of different foods.
• The glass is easy to clean. It is dishwasher safe, it does not need special maintenance.

  • the glass is fragile and even if the borosilicate is more resistant it must be treated with extreme care.
  • Avoid impacts on the pan and its handles.
  • On gas: the use of a flame diffuser is always recommended.
  • On induction and ceramic glass: use a universal adapter. 
  • Before each use, always check that there are no cracks. If you notice cracks during cooking, turn off the heat source immediately and do not remove the pan until the water has cooled.
  • Do not use metal utensils, only plastic or wooden ones. Avoid large temperature fluctuations, the temperature should rise and fall gradually.
