Watch LMM-01 : The Archiwatch (Mechanical)

LMM-01 x The Archiwatch is a collaboration between Merci Instruments and The Archiwatch. The piece is SWISS MADE and produced in limited edition of 250.
With a design background, Richard Ménasé, founder of The Archiwatch — curator and merchant of collectible wristwatches — knows what type of design and font make a great watch.

This venture was his first time designing a watch

This watch was created imagining what the everyday watch of an Italian architect living in 1960s Milan would have looked like.

The elegance of the font and the Dauphine hands is counterbalanced by the sporty look of the blue central seconds hand, and the hyper-detailed minutes and seconds tracks. Everything in this watch is about educated references. The brand name at 6 o’clock instead of 12 is a reminder of the change made by the Swiss industry in the 1960s to accommodate the Japanese market. Likewise, the “Breguet” font used by the most famous watch manufacturers are another hint to the older days.
Lastly, the nuances of grey in the dial are proof that this piece is made for connoisseurs by connoisseurs!

With its step case, its double domed glass and its drill lugs, the LMM-01 is a very contemporary homage to vintage watches.

The watch comes with a black NATO strap. All other straps may be purchased separately.

The LMM-01 Watch features quick-release spring bars, allowing its owner to switch straps in no time to fit the day’s mood.
