Scallop Comb - Sirane Ceramic

After studying interior architecture and design, Sirane developed a strong interest in ceramics. In the summer of 2019, she flew to the island of Corfu, Greece, where she had the opportunity to work in Myrto Zirini’s workshop, deepening her desire to practice ceramics. She then moved to Copenhagen, Denmark, where she honed her wheel-throwing skills during a residency at Éric Landon’s shared studio. In 2021, Sirane opened her own studio in Paris’ 14th arrondissement, where she grew up. Undoubtedly influenced by the places where she learned ceramics, her main inspiration comes from memory in the broadest sense—from family rituals to architectural elements and objects of ancient civilizations.
