Anonymous Ism was founded in 2002. After several seasons of producing socks for other brands, they decided to create their own designs and styles. The design team draws references from a variety of modern sources—naval, military, and workwear. Historical Japanese patterns, incorporating art, traditional clothing, and ancient martial disciplines, also contribute to a rich variety of influences and inspirations.
