In 2004, Audrey decided to travel to West Africa. It was in the northern Ghanaian town of Nyariga that the idea for Muuñ was born.
During a casual stroll, Audrey discovered the traditional Ghanaian round basket and met Tahiru, a passionate artisan. He shared with her the art of traditional straw weaving, his work, and his hope that his baskets would one day be sold in Europe at fair and equitable prices. The idea developed, and a first exclusive collection of straw baskets was presented. The models were immediately appreciated for their naturalness, quality, and style.
